Front door keypad

  • Programming code: 489531
  • User code A: 2724
  • User code B: 1965

Adding user codes

  • Enter programming code; wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Press Schlage; keypad turns blue.
  • Press 1; wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Enter user code (four numbers); wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Enter the new code; if successful, 1 green light + long beep.

Deleting user codes

  • Enter programming code; wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Press Schlage; keypad turns blue.
  • Press 2; wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Enter unwanted user code (four numbers); wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Enter the same unwanted code; if successful, 1 green light + long beep.

Changing programming code

  • Enter programming code; wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Press Schlage; keypad turns blue.
  • Press 3; wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Enter new programming code (six numbers); wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
  • Enter the same programming code; if successful, 1 green light + long beep.

Garage door keypads

Two Genie wireless keypads, mounted side by side on the porch. Each controls one door: left keypad → left garage door, right keypad → right garage door (as you face them from the porch). Opener power head: Genie Model 7055.

  • Left keypad PIN (left garage door): 0420
  • Right keypad PIN (right garage door): 0920

Programming a keypad

Step 1 — Set PIN on the keypad

  1. Press 3 5 7 in order.
  2. Press PROGRAM.
  3. Enter new PIN (3–8 digits).
  4. Press PROGRAM. Keypad is programmed.

Step 2 — Program to the opener

  1. On the power head, press and hold PRGM/SET ~2–3 sec until the round LED turns blue, then release. The long LED flashes purple.
  2. On the keypad, enter the PIN, then press the ▼▲ key. (Opener LED on steady.)
  3. Press ▼▲ again. (LED goes off.)
  4. Press ▼▲ a third time. (Opener runs.)

Forgotten PIN / changing PIN

No reset needed — just set a new PIN (Step 1). The old PIN cannot be read back.

  • 30-second timeout between presses; a red LED flash means it timed out — start over.
  • Stand 5–6 ft from the power head while syncing.
  • Uses 2× AAA batteries; if the backlight stops coming on during use, change them.
